Roxana Aesthetics

A Dubai aesthetic clinic competing in one of the most saturated, most heavily regulated search categories in the UAE. We rebuilt the site around treatments rather than the brand — and organic traffic rose 310%.

The numbers

The largest organic gain in our portfolio.

Aesthetics in Dubai is a brutal category: hundreds of clinics, near-identical device lists, aggressive paid competition and a regulator that restricts what you are allowed to claim. Winning it on organic rather than on media spend is the whole story of this project.

310% is the largest organic increase of any engagement on this site. It came from structure — seventy-two individual treatment pages, plus a blog running to more than 240 articles — rather than from a bigger budget.

The brief

Every clinic in Dubai lists the same machines

Roxana runs genuinely advanced technology — Alma PrimeX, Harmony XL Pro, Hybrid, Soprano Titanium, Morpheus8, Thermage FLX, Emsculpt Neo, Hydrafacial. So does everyone else. A device list is not a difference.

Patients do not search for your clinic — they search for their problem

  1. Brand-first sites lose treatment search

A site organised around the clinic — about us, our technology, our team — has nowhere to rank for the queries that actually happen. Nobody searches 'best aesthetic clinic'. They search 'laser hair removal Dubai price', 'Morpheus8 vs Thermage', 'how many sessions for tattoo removal'. Without a page per treatment, there is nothing for those to land on.

  2. The regulator limits the obvious moves

Aesthetic advertising in Dubai is licensed. Before-and-after imagery, outcome claims and superlatives are all constrained, and creative that ignores the rules gets pulled after the media is already paid for. Most of the persuasion techniques this category reaches for first are unavailable.

  3. Paid competition is relentless and expensive

Cost per click on Dubai aesthetics terms is high and climbing, and the clinics bidding hardest are not always the ones with the best clinical outcomes. A practice that depends on paid is one budget review away from a pipeline problem.

What we built

A site organised around the treatment, not the clinic

Skin, hair, facial and body as first-class sections, each resolving to the individual treatment a patient is actually searching for. Every screen below is the live site.

Treatments

Treatment categories

Skin, hair, facial and body as top-level routes, each opening into the specific procedures underneath rather than one combined services page.

The technology, explained

Named platforms — Alma PrimeX, Harmony XL Pro, Soprano Titanium, Morpheus8, Emsculpt Neo — presented as what they treat rather than as a specification list.

Cutting-edge technologies list naming the clinic's treatment devices

Device-led landing pages

The clinic's advanced platforms given their own pages, because 'Alma PrimeX Dubai' is a real search with real intent and very little competent competition.

Trust

The clinical team

Dermatologists, a general practitioner, aestheticians and a doctor of physical therapy — named, credentialled and surfaced early, because in a medical category the practitioner is the decision.

A letter from the founder

First-person, specific, and about why the clinic exists — the one piece of copy on an aesthetics site that cannot be copied by a competitor.

Patient testimonials

Named reviews built into the page rather than parked behind a tab nobody opens.

Conversion & content

The offers band

Seasonal pricing presented honestly and in-page — the mechanism this category actually converts on, handled without the countdown-timer theatre.

Editorial that answers questions

Comparison and expectation-setting articles — jawline filler versus Morpheus8, how many tattoo removal sessions, what unlimited laser really costs.

How we worked

Organic growth in a category that usually buys its traffic

Four workstreams, sequenced so the structure was right before any content was written. Pick one to see what it involved.

A page per treatment, not per category

The single decision that produced the 310%. Rather than one services page listing everything, each treatment gets its own page with its own search intent, its own questions and its own conversion path. Seventy-two of them, structured so that skin, hair, facial and body each form a genuine cluster rather than a flat list.

  • Seventy-two individual treatment pages, each with its own intent
  • Four clinical clusters — skin, hair, facial, body — with real internal linking
  • Device-led pages for the named platforms patients search by name
  • Structure settled before a word of content was written

Comparison beats promotion

The articles that earn traffic in aesthetics are the ones that answer the question a patient is embarrassed to ask: how many sessions will this really take, what does it actually cost, which of these two treatments is right for me. That is also the content the regulator has no problem with, because it informs rather than claims.

  • Comparison articles between competing treatments
  • Honest expectation-setting on sessions, cost and downtime
  • FAQ content built into treatment pages, not siloed on one page
  • Editorial written to inform, which keeps it inside advertising rules

Designed inside DHA rules from the first draft

Medical and aesthetic advertising in Dubai is licensed, and the constraints are known in advance. Planning to them from the first draft is far cheaper than discovering them at rejection — which is what happens when a generalist agency treats a clinic like a retail brand.

  • Claims framed within what aesthetic advertising rules allow
  • Practitioner credentials surfaced rather than superlatives
  • Outcome language handled carefully across every treatment page
  • Creative planned against the rules rather than corrected after rejection

Speed on an image-heavy clinical site

Aesthetics sites are photography-led, which usually means slow. This one shipped at a Google PageSpeed score of 91 — and since Core Web Vitals feed ranking, that is part of why the organic growth held rather than spiking and fading.

  • Google PageSpeed 91 at handover on a photography-led site
  • Image delivery handled as an engineering problem, not a plugin toggle
  • Mobile treated as the primary experience, because it is the majority of traffic
  • Technical performance tracked as an SEO input throughout

Why it worked

The growth came from structure, not from a bigger budget

Nothing here required outbidding the clinics with the largest media spend in Dubai. It required giving every real patient search somewhere specific to land.

A page for every question

Seventy-two treatment pages means seventy-two chances to rank, each against far weaker competition than the head term everyone else is fighting over.

Compliance planned, not patched

Knowing what aesthetic advertising rules allow before writing is the difference between campaigns that run and campaigns that get pulled after the spend.

Named clinicians beat brand claims

In a medical category the practitioner is the product. Credentials and real faces outperform any amount of superlative copy, and they are also what the rules permit.

Organic compounds, paid resets

310% growth in organic is an asset that keeps working. The same money spent on clicks in this category would have bought a month.

About this project

Questions about this engagement

What clinics ask us after reading this case study.

By building a page for every treatment a patient actually searches for, rather than one services page listing all of them. Seventy-two individual pages, grouped into four clinical clusters, each targeting a specific query with its own questions answered on the page. That is a structural change, not a spending one, and it is why the growth held rather than stopping when a campaign ended.

Yes. Medical and aesthetic advertising is licensed here, and the constraints cover before-and-after imagery, outcome claims and superlatives — precisely the techniques this category reaches for first. The practical consequence is that creative has to be planned against the rules from the first draft. Fixing it at rejection means the media is already paid for.

Because patients search by treatment, not by clinic. Someone comparing Morpheus8 with Thermage, or working out how many tattoo removal sessions they need, will never type a clinic name. Each of those is a separate question with separate intent, and a single combined services page can only rank for one of them at best.

No. The articles that work in this category are comparisons and expectation-setting — what a treatment involves, how many sessions are typical, what it costs, who it suits. That is genuinely useful to a patient and it stays inside advertising rules, which is a rare case of the compliant option also being the effective one.

That it loads fast under Google's own measurement despite being photography-led, which aesthetics sites invariably are. Core Web Vitals feed ranking directly, so on an image-heavy site performance is not a technical nicety — it is part of why the organic position is defensible. The 91 is the score at handover, after our optimisation.

Ranking for your own name means you are visible to people who already know you. It tells you nothing about the much larger group searching for the treatment you provide and finding a competitor. Branded search is a floor, not a strategy.

No — we work across healthcare, from multi-specialty medical centres to single-discipline practices, and beyond healthcare entirely. But healthcare carries constraints most categories do not, and we have run enough of these to plan for DHA and MOHAP requirements from the first draft.

Probably, and the honest way to find out is a growth check-up: a structured read of your search visibility, your treatment page coverage and your booking funnel, with the findings written down. You keep them whether or not you go on to work with us.

No questions match — try another search.
