AI

AI consultancy that can conclude you need less of it

Almost every AI recommendation you will receive comes from someone selling AI. That is not dishonesty, it is incentive, and it reliably produces a shortlist where everything is worth doing. A paid engagement can produce the more useful answer, which is that two of the nine ideas are worth it and the rest are a distraction.

  • Costed each use case, with effort
  • Ranked by value, not by novelty
  • Yours agency-agnostic document

Tell us what you need

A senior person reads this and replies within one working day. No call centre, no drip sequence.

Partners & recognition

The stack we work in, the clients we keep

The platforms we build and run campaigns in, and the clients whose numbers we publish with their names on. HubSpot is the one partnership we claim; the rest are tools we use, not badges.

  • German Medical Center
  • The Reformery Clinic
  • Alma Laser
  • Roxana Aesthetics Clinic
  • Lamel
  • Dotline Studios

The problem

Nine use cases, all recommended

The workshop produced a long list, everything scored highly, and nothing was ruled out. A list where nothing is rejected has not prioritised anything, it has just recorded enthusiasm.

Where AI budgets get wasted

  1. The pilot was chosen because it was interesting

A demonstration of what is possible rather than a fix for something expensive. It impresses the board, produces no measurable change, and makes the next request for budget harder.

  2. Nobody measured the baseline

You cannot show that a tool saved forty hours a month if nobody recorded how long the task took before. This is the single most common reason a genuinely successful pilot cannot be defended at renewal.

  3. The data was not ready

Most useful AI applications need your own content or records to be accessible, current and reasonably clean. Where they are not, the project quietly becomes a data project with an AI label.

  4. Nobody owns it after the pilot

The consultant left, the licence renews, and nobody internal can adjust the prompt, check the outputs or explain how it works. Within two quarters it is either unused or unmonitored, and unmonitored is worse.

What is included

What an AI engagement produces

A written document with the use cases costed and ranked, and the ones we would not do listed with reasons.

Use case discovery

Interviews across the business to find where time and money actually go. The best candidates are usually unglamorous — a document process, a triage step, a report someone rebuilds by hand every week.

Baseline measurement

How long the current process takes and what it costs, recorded before anything changes. Without this no result afterwards is provable.

Costed shortlist

Each use case with expected benefit, implementation effort, licence cost and ongoing maintenance. Ranked, with the ones we recommend against and why.

Data readiness assessment

Whether your content and records are in a state that supports the shortlisted cases. Frequently the finding that changes the plan.

Build, buy or wait

Per use case. Buying an existing tool beats building for most of them, and for some the honest answer is to wait six months because the category is moving fast.

Governance and policy

What staff may put into which tools, how outputs get checked, what gets disclosed and where a human must remain in the loop. Most organisations have staff using AI already with no policy at all, which is the actual risk.

Skills and ownership

Who internally will own each system, and what they need to know. A tool with no owner degrades quietly.

Ninety-day plan

What to start, in what order, with what measured. So the document turns into action rather than sitting in a folder.

Technology

How we assess it

Process and evidence first. Tool selection comes last and matters least.

Discovery

Where the time goes.

  • Stakeholder interviews
  • Process time-and-motion review
  • Document and workflow audit
  • Cost-of-task modelling

Data readiness

The usual blocker.

  • Content and knowledge audit
  • Data quality assessment
  • System access review
  • Retrieval feasibility testing

Evaluation

Against your own tasks.

  • Model comparison on your data
  • Build versus buy costing
  • Licence and scaling cost modelling
  • Vendor lock-in assessment

Governance

Because staff are already using it.

  • Acceptable use policy
  • Output review process
  • Disclosure position
  • Human-in-the-loop definition

How we work

How the engagement runs

Two to four weeks, fixed price, ending in a document you own.

Not where AI is interesting

Interviews and a review of how work actually gets done. The strongest candidates are usually a repetitive process nobody enjoys rather than anything that would demo well.

  • Interviews across the affected teams
  • Time and cost measured per candidate process
  • Current tool usage catalogued, including shadow usage
  • Candidates that only demo well, excluded

Before anything changes

How long it takes now, how many people, what it costs. Recorded, so any later claim is provable rather than asserted.

  • Baseline recorded per candidate
  • Measurement method agreed with the team
  • Quality baseline as well as time
  • Owner identified for each measurement

Including the rejects

Expected benefit, effort, licence cost and maintenance per use case. Ranked, with a clear list of what we would not do and why. The rejected list is usually the more useful half.

  • Benefit and effort estimated per case
  • Licence and maintenance cost included
  • Build, buy or wait decided per case
  • Rejected cases listed with reasoning

So it can start

Governance for the tools staff already use, plus a ninety-day plan naming what starts first and what gets measured.

  • Acceptable use policy drafted
  • Human-in-the-loop points defined
  • Ninety-day plan with owners and costs
  • Success measures agreed before starting

Why us

Why paid advice on AI is different advice

The incentive is the entire argument, and it is more acute here than in any other category we work in.

We can recommend doing less

Paid and separate means the answer can be that two of nine use cases are worth it. An assessment delivered free by a vendor cannot reach that conclusion however competent the people are.

Every case is costed, including maintenance

Licence, implementation and the ongoing cost of somebody checking outputs. Maintenance is the line most AI proposals leave out and it is where the surprise arrives.

Baselines are recorded first

So a saving can be proved at renewal rather than argued. Most pilots that genuinely worked cannot demonstrate it, which is why they get cut.

The document is yours

Written to be handed to whoever executes, including your internal team or another supplier. Several clients use ours to compare vendor quotes.

Questions

AI consultancy, answered plainly

Including why almost nobody in Dubai is searching for it.

AED 20,000 to AED 90,000 covers most of what we are asked to build. The number moves on how many processes and teams are in scope, whether data readiness assessment is included, and whether governance policy drafting is needed. Anything quoted before those are known is a guess. We scope first, then price, and the scope document is yours whether or not you proceed. These are market ranges rather than a fixed rate card — the proposal carries the real figure.

The market is real and the search behaviour has not caught up. Almost nobody in Dubai searches 'ai consulting dubai' — the conversations are happening inside companies, through referrals and in board meetings. We are telling you this rather than implying the term is competitive, because it affects how you should judge any agency claiming to dominate AI search here.

The honest general answer is that it is good at drafting, summarising, classifying, extracting from documents and answering questions from a defined body of content. It is poor at anything requiring reliable accuracy without a human check, and it is not a substitute for a process that does not exist. The specific answer requires looking at where your time actually goes.

Ask three questions of any proposal: what is the baseline it improves on, what does it cost to run in year two including the person checking outputs, and what happens when it is wrong. Proposals that cannot answer all three are selling capability rather than an outcome.

Buy, for most use cases, and it is not a close call as often as people expect. The category is moving fast enough that a bespoke build risks being overtaken by a product feature within a year. Building makes sense where your data or process is genuinely unusual and where the advantage is worth maintaining.

Yes, and more urgently than most companies think, because staff are already using these tools whether or not it is sanctioned. The risk is not future adoption, it is present unmanaged usage: client data pasted into consumer tools, unchecked output going to customers. A short usable policy beats a long unread one.

Two to four weeks. Interviews and baseline measurement take most of it. Where the data readiness assessment surfaces problems, that finding usually changes the plan more than anything else in the document.

Whoever owns the processes under consideration, the people who actually do the work, and whoever holds the budget. The people doing the work matter most — they know where the time goes in a way the org chart does not show.

No, and be careful with anyone who does. What we can do is measure the baseline, cost each case honestly including maintenance, and rule out the ones where the numbers do not work. That is a considerably better position than most companies start from.

Smaller than the client expects, and less exciting. Commonly it is document handling, internal knowledge search, first-draft content with human editing, and support triage. The dramatic use cases usually cost more and deliver less than the dull ones.

Yes, and the document is written so you do not have to use us. It is deliberately agency-agnostic and several clients have used it to compare quotes from vendors, which is exactly what it is for.

No questions match — try another search.
