Overview

Paria Ghorashi is an entrepreneur, strategic advisor, brand partner and public figure based in Dubai. Born in Iran and raised in Norway, she founded blowout&go and developed bgX into a beauty-technology platform. She also co-founded Made For You Global, a private community for women entrepreneurs. She leads PGPM, her strategy and execution platform, and works with founders, organisations and brands.

This page covers what she asked for, what we built and how it works.

The challenge

It needed to feel less like a portfolio and more like entering her world.

  • A brief in her words

Her brief asked for a cinematic homepage, editorial galleries, motion typography and interactive scrolling, in black, white, charcoal and muted gold.

  • Many roles, one story

She works as an entrepreneur, advisor, brand partner and public figure. Her agency, PGPM, had to sit inside that story as the platform that delivers the work.

  • From one page to a full site

Her copy master grew a one-page draft into a full site, with pages of their own for advisory, partnerships, speaking, media, ventures and PGPM.

  • Photographs first

The brief put photography and phones first, and some of her pictures existed only as pages inside her brand decks.

  • Claims checked first

Her copy master asks that figures, press mentions and client logos appear only after she has confirmed them.

What we did

  • Mobile-first, in her colours

Her palette runs throughout: luxury black, warm ivory and signature gold used sparingly, with a high-contrast display serif and a clean sans. Every page was laid out for phones first, as her brief asked.

  • Built from scratch

A Next.js site with GSAP and Lenis for the motion, exported as static pages. All of her copy sits in two data files, so a wording change is made in one place.

  • Her own signature moments

Her logo is drawn in light at the opening, titles rise line by line, and Iran, Norway and Dubai fill with gold as they cross the screen.

  • Her photographs, captioned

Her ventures and brand partnerships are told through her photographs, with captions set like an editorial spread.

Photographs of Paria Ghorashi in the ventures chapter, one captioned blowout&go
The brand partnerships gallery, captioned Content and campaigns and Events and public engagements
  • A page for every part of her work

Advisory, strategic services, brand partnerships, speaking, ventures and contact each open on one of her portraits, on a phone as on a desktop.

  • Ready for search, kept out until launch

Each page carries its own title and description, in her words. Until she approves the launch, the preview tells search engines not to index it.

  • Motion that respects settings

GSAP and Lenis drive the scroll. When a visitor has reduced motion switched on, her logo fades in at the opening instead of animating.

Built with

  • Next.js Framework and static export
  • React Components
  • Tailwind CSS Styling
  • GSAP Scroll and motion
  • Lenis Smooth scrolling
  • Cloudflare Pages Preview hosting

What Paria has now

  • A homepage that tells her story in five chapters, from where she comes from to how brands work with her.
  • Pages for advisory, strategic services, brand partnerships, speaking, media, ventures and PGPM, built from her copy master.
  • Her own logo throughout, from the opening animation to the favicon.
  • Enquiry and booking forms that check each field and show her confirmation, ready to connect to her inbox.
  • A preview kept out of search until she signs off figures, press features and client logos.

Why it worked

It works because the site is built from her own words and pictures

Every line comes from her copy master and the photographs are hers. The design gives each idea a screen of its own.

Her voice

Every word comes from her approved copy master, shortened to fit each section and never stretched into claims she has not made.

Moments made for her

Her logo is drawn in light, chapter cards open like a film gate, and the three places that shaped her fill with gold.

Claims checked first

Figures, press features and client logos wait for her confirmation before launch, as her copy master asks.

Built for phones

Every page was laid out for phones first, and the titles were checked at five screen sizes.
