Marketing consultancy in Dubai, for the decision before the retainer

Most agencies give the advice away because the advice is the sales process. That is why it always concludes you need the thing they sell. This is the paid version: a fixed engagement that ends in a written recommendation you own, which can and sometimes does conclude that you should spend less.

  • 2-4 weeks typical engagement
  • Document yours, agency-agnostic
  • 7 published programmes behind the advice

Tell us what you need

A senior person reads this and replies within one working day. No call centre, no drip sequence.

Partners & recognition

The stack we work in, the clients we keep

The platforms we build and run campaigns in, and the clients whose numbers we publish with their names on. HubSpot is the one partnership we claim; the rest are tools we use, not badges.

The problem

Free advice is a sales process

A discovery call, a workshop, a deck. It is thorough, it is useful, and it concludes that you need a retainer for the service the agency happens to sell. Nobody is being dishonest; the incentive simply cannot produce another answer.

What that costs you

  1. The recommendation was decided before the research

An SEO agency finds an SEO problem. A paid agency finds a targeting problem. Both are genuinely competent, and neither is in a position to tell you the real constraint is your pricing or your sales follow-up.

  2. Nobody says the budget is too small

A category that needs AED 40,000 a month to move gets pitched a AED 12,000 retainer, because the alternative is losing the client. Six months later it has not worked and everybody is surprised.

  3. The plan cannot be compared

Three agencies pitch three different scopes, so the quotes are not comparable and the decision comes down to who presented best. That is not a procurement process.

  4. It is worth nothing to you if you leave

A pitch deck is not a deliverable. When the relationship ends you have slides, not a document you can hand to whoever comes next.

What is included

What a consultancy engagement actually produces

A written document, specific enough to tender with. Everything below is in it, and it is yours whether or not you work with us afterwards.

The commercial model

What a customer is worth, what you can afford to pay to acquire one, and therefore what a lead is worth at each stage. Every other number derives from this, and most plans skip it entirely.

Where the actual constraint is

Sometimes traffic. Often it is the site, the offer, the price, or the fact nobody calls the leads back for two days. Spending on acquisition when the constraint is downstream makes the problem more expensive.

Channel recommendation with reasoning

Which channels, what share of budget, and why — tied to your margin and sales cycle. Including the ones we recommend against, which is usually the more useful half.

Budget and phasing

What to spend, in what order, and what has to be true before the next tranche is released. A plan that commits everything in month one has no way to learn.

Build, hire or outsource

For each capability, honestly. Some things belong in-house, some are better bought, and the answer changes with your volume. We will tell you where an in-house hire beats an agency, including us.

Measurement design

What gets tracked, where it lands, who reads it and what decision it drives. Designed before launch, so month one produces data you can use.

Stopping rules

What result by what date means a channel continues, and what means it stops. Agreed in advance, so underperformance is a fact rather than an argument about needing more time.

A ninety-day plan

What happens first, who does it, what it costs. So the document converts into action rather than sitting in a folder.

Technology

What the advice is built on

Your data first, market data second, opinion last and labelled as opinion.

Your evidence

What is already true.

  • Google Analytics 4
  • Google Search Console
  • CRM and pipeline data
  • Ad platform history
  • Sales call review
  • Customer interviews

Market

How much demand actually exists.

  • Semrush
  • ValueSERP live SERP data
  • Google Keyword Planner
  • Google Trends

Competitors

What the people beating you do differently.

  • Competitor architecture teardown
  • Backlink profile comparison
  • Ad library review
  • Content gap analysis

Modelling

So the numbers connect.

  • Unit economics model
  • Channel forecast
  • Budget scenarios
  • Attribution design

How we work

How the engagement runs

Two to four weeks, fixed price, ending in a document rather than a proposal for more work.

What a customer is worth

Margin, close rate, repeat rate and sales cycle, taken from your own numbers rather than from benchmarks. Where that data does not exist yet, establishing it is the first recommendation, because everything downstream is guesswork without it.

  • Unit economics from your data
  • Value per lead by stage
  • Affordable acquisition cost
  • Sales cycle measured, not assumed

Not the symptom

Analytics, Search Console, CRM records, sales calls and a technical read of the site. The presenting problem is rarely the binding one, and spending against the wrong one is the expensive mistake.

  • Full funnel review, not channel-only
  • Site and conversion audit
  • Sales follow-up and speed reviewed
  • Constraint identified and evidenced

Channels, budget, measurement

The mix with reasoning, the phasing, the tracking design and the stopping rules. Written so you can disagree with a specific line rather than with the whole plan.

  • Channel mix with budget share
  • Phasing and release conditions
  • Build, hire or outsource per capability
  • Stopping rules agreed in advance

So anyone can execute it

Presented, argued through, then yours. Take it in-house, tender it to three agencies, or run it with us. It is written to be agency-agnostic and it says so on the first page.

  • Written document, not a deck
  • Working session to go through it
  • Usable as a tender document
  • No obligation to execute with us

Why us

Why paid advice is different advice

The incentive is the whole argument.

We are not quoting for the work while we advise

Paid and separate means the recommendation can honestly be spend less, fix the site first, or hire in-house instead of retaining an agency. None of those conclusions survive inside a free session that exists to produce a proposal.

You get a document, not a deck

Specific enough to tender with. Several clients have used ours to get genuinely comparable quotes from three agencies, which is exactly what it is for.

Built on your commercial model

Value per lead, affordable acquisition cost, channel ceilings — derived from your margin and close rate, not from benchmarks lifted off an American SaaS blog and applied to a Dubai business.

Senior people, and only senior people

The person doing the interviews writes the document. There is no research layer between you and the recommendation.

Questions

Marketing consultancy, answered plainly

Including why it is paid, and when you should hire instead.

AED 18,000 to AED 75,000 covers most of what we are asked to build. The number moves on how many channels are in scope, whether competitor and demand research is included, how many markets and languages, and how many stakeholders need interviewing. Anything quoted before those are known is a guess. We scope first, then price, and the scope document is yours whether or not you proceed. These are market ranges rather than a fixed rate card — the proposal carries the real figure.

Because free advice is a sales process, and it can only ever conclude that you need what the agency sells. Paid and separate is what makes it possible for us to recommend spending less, fixing the website first, or not running the campaign this year.

We credit a portion against work that starts within three months. The document is deliberately written so you can take it elsewhere, and clients do. That is the point rather than a failure mode.

A consultant when the question is what to do. An agency when you know what to do and need hands to do it. If you already know the plan and just need execution, paying for consultancy first is wasted money, and we will say so on the first call.

Often, and we will tell you when. Past roughly AED 25,000 to 30,000 a month of retained agency spend on a single discipline, a good in-house hire usually beats it. Several of our engagements end with a hiring brief rather than a retainer.

Yes, and sometimes it is. If your economics do not support paid acquisition at current prices, the honest answer is to fix margin or conversion first. That is a cheaper year than discovering it through a campaign.

Whoever owns the commercial number, whoever runs sales, and if possible two or three customers. Around six hours of your organisation across the engagement.

Two to four weeks. Longer usually means we are waiting on analytics access or interview scheduling, so both are worth arranging in week one.

A written document covering the commercial model, where the real constraint sits, channel recommendation with reasoning, budget and phasing, build-hire-outsource per capability, measurement design, stopping rules and a ninety-day plan. Plus a session to argue through it.

Then we discuss it, and if you have information we did not, the recommendation changes. It is a considered argument rather than a verdict, and it should be possible to argue with it.
