We will tell you not to gate it
Most explainers earn more open — ranking, linked to, read. Gating them suppresses reach for a handful of low-intent addresses. That advice costs us the bigger project and it is still the right one.
Content marketing
Search this term in the UAE and you get book ghostwriters, self-publishing houses and assignment-help sites. That is a different product. This page is about the marketing asset: the thing you gate, what makes someone hand over a real email address for it, and what happens in the ten days after they do.
A senior person reads this and replies within one working day. No call centre, no drip sequence.
The form did not load.
It is our end, not yours. Email us instead and it reaches exactly the same person.
Support@adnika.comPartners & recognition
The platforms we build and run campaigns in, and the clients whose numbers we publish with their names on. HubSpot is the one partnership we claim; the rest are tools we use, not badges.
The problem
Twelve pages of what the company does, gated, then a monthly newsletter. The download rate is low, the email addresses are fake, and nobody can say what it was for.
Why they underperform
If the reader could get the same thing from your services page, they will not trade an email for it. The test is whether a competitor would be annoyed that you published it.
Gating suppresses reach. Worth doing for a genuine tool or benchmark, actively harmful for an introductory explainer that should be ranking and earning links instead.
The PDF sends, then a generic newsletter three weeks later. The ten days after a download are when intent is highest, and almost nobody uses them.
Forty pages because forty sounds substantial. A six-page benchmark with real numbers converts better and actually gets read, which is the point.
What is included
A short list, because the format matters far less than whether the thing is worth having.
Numbers from your own business or your own market that nobody else can publish. The strongest gates, because the value is genuinely exclusive to you.
Something the reader uses rather than reads. A pricing calculator or a specification template earns a real email address because it does a job.
The honest version of how to choose in your category, including what to avoid. It works precisely because it stays useful to people who do not pick you.
Laid out properly, readable on a phone, branded without being a brochure. We produce the artwork as part of the piece rather than handing over a document.
Message match to wherever the traffic came from, one clear action, and a form that asks only what qualification actually needs.
Built at the same time as the asset, not afterwards. What arrives at day zero, day two and day seven, and what the sales handover looks like when somebody engages.
A download is not a lead. Scoring decides who is worth a call, and routing gets them to a named person before the intent decays.
Ghostwritten books, academic writing or self-publishing. That is a real trade and a different one, and the UAE sites ranking for this term do it properly.
Technology
The asset is a third of the job. The other two thirds are the page and the sequence.
What happens after the form.
Making the thing itself.
Whether it worked.
How we work
Four to six weeks, with the sequence built alongside the asset rather than after it.
What can you publish that a competitor could not, and would somebody trade a real email address for it? If the answer is no we say so, and recommend publishing it openly instead.
Researched, written by a person, laid out to be read on a phone. Length follows the content rather than a target.
The landing page, a form scoped to qualification, and the follow-up written before launch. This is the part that gets postponed and then never happens.
Email, social, and paid amplification where it earns it. Then an honest read at thirty days on qualified leads rather than downloads.
Why us
Because the argument about whether it should exist happens before the budget gets spent making it.
Most explainers earn more open — ranking, linked to, read. Gating them suppresses reach for a handful of low-intent addresses. That advice costs us the bigger project and it is still the right one.
HubSpot partner. Day zero, day two, day seven and the sales handover all exist before launch, because the ten days after a download are when intent is highest.
Download counts are easy and meaningless. The number we report is how many of those downloads a salesperson was willing to call.
If you want a book written, the specialists ranking for that term do it properly and we will point you at them. We build marketing assets.

Questions
Including when the honest answer is not to gate it at all.
AED 9,000 to AED 45,000 covers most of what we are asked to build. The number moves on length and research depth, whether original data has to be gathered, how much design it needs, and whether the landing page and follow-up sequence are included. Anything quoted before those are known is a guess. We scope first, then price, and the scope document is yours whether or not you proceed. These are market ranges rather than a fixed rate card — the proposal carries the real figure.
Because that is where the return is. The asset produces an email address; the sequence produces the conversation. Building the first without the second is the most common way this money gets wasted, so we quote them together and will say so if you already have that covered.
Gate a genuine tool, a benchmark or original data — things with standalone value. Do not gate an introductory explainer: it earns far more by ranking, being linked to and being read. We give that recommendation before quoting, and it frequently shrinks the job.
As long as the content needs and no longer. A six-page benchmark with real numbers outperforms a forty-page overview and it actually gets finished. Length is a vanity measure that survives because it is easy to specify.
Something a competitor would be irritated you published. Original numbers, an honest buyer guide including what to avoid, or a tool that does a job. If your services page already says it, it is not a lead magnet.
No. That is a different trade, and the UAE sites ranking for e-book writing do it properly. We build marketing assets: gated guides, benchmarks, templates and the funnel around them.
Both. A well-researched guide in an ugly template gets abandoned on page two, and a beautiful one with nothing in it gets abandoned on page one.
Qualified leads at thirty days, not downloads. We agree what qualified means with your sales team before launch, so the review is a measurement rather than an argument.
For a genuinely valuable asset with matched traffic, twenty to forty percent is achievable. Under ten usually means the offer is not worth the email address, not that the page needs another button.
Four to six weeks for the asset, page and sequence together. Original research or interviews add time, and they are also usually the reason the thing is worth gating.
No questions match — try another search.
Next step
The answer is usually the asset. Tell us and we will say honestly whether it is worth gating, or worth publishing openly instead.
