Generative engine optimization in Dubai, measured rather than assumed

Conversational AI now writes many of the replies your customers read, and it cites only a few sources. GEO is how you become one of them, and we measure whether it's working.

  • Measured we test whether you appear in AI answers
  • Crawler access checked first in every GEO audit
  • Extractable pages AI can quote cleanly

Platforms & clients

The stack we work in, the clients we keep

The platforms we build and run campaigns in, and the clients whose numbers we publish with their names on. These are tools we use, not partner badges.

  • German Medical Center
  • The Reformery Clinic
  • Alma Laser
  • Roxana Aesthetics Clinic
  • Lamel
  • Dotline Studios

The problem

Nobody knows whether AI tools cite them

Ask any digital marketing agency how a client ranks in search for its main term and you'll get a number. Ask whether an AI assistant recommends that client and most can't speak to it, because no report they send tracks AI visibility.

Why AI search visibility matters now

  1. Your robots file may be blocking AI crawlers

Several AI crawlers use different user agents from Googlebot. Plenty of sites block them without anyone deciding to, usually through a plugin default or a security rule. It's the most common reason a company has no presence in AI results, and it takes ten minutes to check.

  2. Client-rendered content is often invisible

Google renders JavaScript, on a delay and a budget. Many AI crawlers do far less of it. A site that builds its pages in the browser can be fully indexed by Google and still look empty to an AI engine.

  3. The claims are not attributable

An AI chatbot quotes pages that make specific, checkable statements. Marketing copy built on vague praise such as 'innovative solutions' gives it nothing to lift, so it quotes someone else.

  4. There is no measurement at all

You can't manage what nobody is looking at. Most companies learn they're missing from AI answers when a customer mentions it, which is the expensive way to find out.

What is included

What GEO involves in practice

Most of the GEO process is unglamorous and technical. In every aspect of generative engine work, the parts that sound clever matter less than the parts that sound obvious.

Crawler access audit

Which AI user agents your robots file allows, and which it blocks. We check at the edge too, because Cloudflare and similar products can block a crawler whatever robots.txt says.

Server-side rendering review

What's inside the raw HTML before any script runs. If your main claims arrive through JavaScript, a meaningful share of AI crawlers will never see them.

Extractable page structure

Headings that match the questions people ask, with the answer directly underneath, and tables or lists where the data suits them. That structure lets an LLM lift a clean passage without rebuilding your argument.

Claims worth quoting

Specific numbers, dates, named methods and stated sources give a page authority. A page that says a process takes four to six weeks, and explains what changes that, can be quoted. A page that says 'rapid turnaround' can't.

Entity clarity and consistency

Your business described the same way across your whole digital presence: name, address, services and people. Assistants piece together who you are from many places. Matching details act as trust signals, and contradictions weaken all of them. For GMC, a multi-specialty clinic in Dubai, Adnika replaced two separate sites with one centralised WordPress site.

Structured data

Organisation, LocalBusiness, Article, FAQPage, Service and Product, where they apply. Schema isn't a ranking factor. It does make a page easier for AI systems to parse.

Authority in the sources assistants read

Industry listings, high-quality directories, comparison articles and high-authority publications that assistants already treat as a reference. A mention on a trusted site often adds more credibility and relevance than another page on your own website. We do authority building selectively, through content worth quoting, digital PR and real partnerships, never links bought in bulk.

Tracking who AI cites

We run the questions your buyers ask through assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude on a schedule. Then we record who gets cited. That's the measurement layer, and almost nobody has it.

Technology

What we use to measure it

The Adnika Dashboard: one live view of a client's ads, analytics and CRM data, with AI recommendations reviewed by the strategist. Measurement is the part most GEO offers skip, because it's the part that can show the work didn't help.

Access

The first thing to check.

  • robots.txt audit
  • CDN and WAF rule review
  • Server log analysis
  • User-agent testing

Rendering

What a crawler sees before JavaScript.

  • Raw HTML inspection
  • Server-side rendering review
  • Screaming Frog
  • Rich Results Test

Citation tracking

Insights on whether it's working.

  • Prompt tests on AI platforms like ChatGPT
  • Cited-page log over time
  • Competitor share of mentions
  • Branded search movement

Structure

So a model can extract cleanly.

  • JSON-LD schema
  • Heading architecture
  • Entity consistency audit
  • Semrush

How we work

How a GEO engagement runs

Access comes first, because nothing else matters if AI crawlers can't reach you. Then we build a custom GEO strategy to gain visibility in AI-generated answers for the questions your customers ask.

Before anything else

Robots rules, CDN and firewall behaviour, and what the raw HTML contains. It's unglamorous, and it's where a surprising share of the gain sits, because a blocked crawler makes every other fix irrelevant.

  • AI user agents tested individually
  • CDN and WAF rules reviewed
  • Raw HTML checked without JavaScript
  • Blocking decisions made deliberately

So there is something to compare against

We run the questions your customers ask across the major AI assistants and record what comes back. That means who is cited, how often and what was said. Without this baseline, nobody can check a later claim of improvement.

  • Buyer question set built with you
  • Run across the major AI assistants
  • Every cited page logged with a date
  • Competitor share of mentions recorded

Content for AI models to quote

This is AI-optimised content creation, done by rewriting for extraction. Real questions become headings, with direct answers underneath and schema that matches what the page says.

  • Headings mapped to real questions
  • Vague claims replaced with specific ones
  • Tables and lists where the data suits
  • Schema implementation checked and validated

On a schedule, including when nothing moved

The same question set is re-run monthly against the baseline. Where citation share hasn't moved, we say so and change approach, rather than pointing at organic traffic that rose for other reasons.

  • Same questions, same schedule
  • Reporting against the baseline
  • No movement reported as no movement
  • Approach changed when it is not working

Why us

Why this is honest about a young discipline

GEO is roughly two years old as a named practice. Any SEO agency claiming a proven playbook is overstating it, so the useful thing is to be specific about what's known.

We measure citations, not vibes

A baseline before the work and the same questions re-run monthly. It is the only way to tell whether anything changed, and it is the part most offers leave out.

Crawler access comes first

A blocked crawler makes everything else pointless. And a large share of the sites we check block something without anyone having decided to.

We separate what is known from what is inferred

Structured data helping extraction is well supported. Specific claims about how much any one tactic moves citation share are not, and we label them as opinion rather than dressing them up.

It builds on SEO rather than replacing it

Assistants largely read the same web that search engines index. A technically sound, useful site is most of the way there. So this work keeps its value even if AI search stalls.

Start a projectBefore you optimise your website for AI, ask us to check whether it's blocking AI crawlers. It takes a few minutes, and we'll tell you either way at no charge.

Questions

Generative engine optimisation, in plain terms

Including what nobody can honestly promise yet.

It depends on scope, so we price after we've looked at your site. The main factors are how many pages need rewriting, whether ongoing monitoring is included and how many assistants we follow. Adnika works in Arabic and English, so a question set in both languages takes more work. We scope first, and the scope document is yours whether or not you go ahead.

It's the work that makes your site more likely to be quoted when generative AI writes an answer. In practice that means open crawler access and content a model can extract cleanly. It also means specific claims and the same information about your business across the web.

They overlap, and the industry uses both terms loosely. Our working line is that GEO is about being a page that generative systems quote when they write an answer. AEO is about winning the direct result itself, such as a featured snippet, a voice search result or a voice assistant reply. Google returns different top-ten results for the two terms, with no overlap, so they aren't interchangeable in practice.

Because almost everyone searching it right now wants to know what it means. There isn't a single GEO agency service page on the first page of results in Dubai. So nobody has claimed the commercial version of this term yet. It also means you should be sceptical of anyone selling a mature GEO methodology for a discipline this new.

There's no switch, and anyone offering one is guessing. What helps is letting AI crawlers in and serving your content in the HTML rather than through JavaScript. Make specific, checkable claims instead of adjectives, and put each answer directly under the question it addresses. Then earn a place in the third-party sources of information that already get quoted in your category, and measure the result.

It's a fair decision, and it depends on your business. A publisher whose revenue comes from page visits has a real case for blocking. A services business that wants to be recommended usually doesn't. The point is to decide for yourself rather than find out a plugin decided for you.

No, and treat any such promise as a reason to walk away. There's no submission process, no official ranking report and no direct control. What we can do is remove the blockers and make the pages quotable. Then we measure the outcome honestly, including when it doesn't move.

We take a fixed set of the questions your buyers ask and run them across the major assistants on a schedule. We log who gets cited and how that changes. It's a sample, not a census, and replies vary between runs, so we read trends across repeated tests before changing approach.

No, and that framing is mostly marketing. AI-powered search engines largely read the web Google indexes, so page speed, user experience and useful content serve both. What has changed is that informational queries often get a reply with no click. That pulls down CTR on those pages and argues for putting effort into commercial pages.

Results from GEO arrive in stages, and access fixes are immediate. Page rewrites run over one to three months, depending on how many pages. Where the cited pages change, it has typically taken us two to four months to see it in the monitoring. It doesn't happen on every engagement.

Yes, and we'll do it at no charge. It's a few minutes of work and the most common problem we find. We'd rather tell you than sell around it.

Classic SEO focuses on ranking pages in search results. GEO, sometimes called AI SEO, goes beyond traditional rankings. It aims to make your brand appear in AI-generated search results, where there may be no list of links at all. The two share the same foundation, which is why we run them together.

Local and global GEO strategies share the same groundwork: crawler access, pages a model can quote and matching facts. After that, priorities vary based on industry competition and user intent. A real estate agency gets asked different things from a clinic, and an e-commerce store is different again. So we research your customers' search behaviour first, then build a content strategy and AI-ready content around it.
