Key details

We designed Tehran Pars Music Institute's website at conservatoire scale: 87 pages, from the home page to a page for every instrument. We then built the site in WordPress as native Elementor pages, with our own widgets carrying the design and the six-field trial booking form.

Overview

Tehran Pars Music Institute is a music academy in Khan Murjan, Wafi City, Dubai. The academy began in Tehran in 2016 and opened in Dubai in 2022. Nineteen instruments are taught there, Western classical and Persian side by side, with voice, ensembles, exam preparation and classes for children from 18 months. Lessons run in seven languages, and the first lesson is a free 20-minute trial.

This page covers what the institute asked for, the design we made, the WordPress build and where the site stands today.

The challenge

It needed a website held to a conservatoire's standard, with one action at its centre: booking a free trial lesson.

  • A conservatoire as the bar

The institute sent the Guildhall School of Music & Drama's website as its benchmark, and every design was judged against it.

  • One action

The site has one job: getting parents to book a free 20-minute trial lesson, in six fields.

  • Parents on phones

Parents nearby would mostly book on a phone, as the institute's brief put it, "one handed, in daylight, while doing something else".

  • A brand already set

The institute's brief fixed the fonts, the colours and the voice, down to a list of words the site must never use.

  • Stage light, no portraits

Its own photographs were concert shots under cool blue stage light, and there were no teacher portraits at all.

What we did

  • Two rounds against the bar

We judged our first three designs against the Guildhall site, then designed three new homepages at its scale. The Conservatoire direction was chosen on 18 September 2026 with no changes.

  • Native Elementor, our own widgets

The WordPress build is made of native Elementor pages. Our plugin, tehranpars-design, adds 35 widgets that print the design's own markup, and every page stays editable in Elementor.

  • Six fields to a free trial

The trial form asks for six things, each with a visible label, and checks each field as it is filled in. Instrument and programme pages open it with their choice already made.

The Tehran Pars free trial form: parent name, student name, student age, instrument or programme, preferred day and mobile number
  • One template for every instrument

Each of the nineteen instruments has a page from one template: how lessons run, what a lesson looks like, the teachers and related classes.

What a lesson looks like on the violin page: technique, repertoire and performance
  • Real names, no stand-in faces

No teacher portraits existed, so teachers appear with their instrument and one credential each, and each named teacher has a page of their own.

Among the faculty on the Tehran Pars home page: two teachers bowing after a performance, beside the first two names and their credentials
  • Ready for search, kept out until launch

Every page has its own title and description, and the WordPress build runs Yoast SEO. Both the preview and the build stay out of search until the domain moves.

  • Motion that respects settings

The home cover opens as two dark panels part from the centre, and our animated icons play once as each band arrives. With reduced motion switched on, every page is complete and still.

What Tehran Pars has now

  • An 87-page website design in its own brand, from the home page to a page for every instrument, programme and named teacher.
  • A free trial form with six labelled fields, opened from instrument and programme pages with the choice already made.
  • The same design built in WordPress on the institute's own hosting, with every page editable in Elementor.
  • Space for teacher portraits and more of its own photographs, with no invented faces in the meantime.
  • Farsi and Arabic versions of the design, translated and set right to left, held back for a later phase.

Why it worked

It works because every page leads to one free trial lesson

The design gives the institute a conservatoire's scale and keeps one action in reach: booking the free trial.

Held to the benchmark

Every design was judged against the Guildhall site the institute sent, and the chosen one was designed at its scale.

One action in Orange

Orange is kept for the free trial booking, so the institute's one action stands out from everything else on the page.

Two traditions, one design

Western classical and Persian instruments share the same pages, the same template and the same weight, from piano to santoor.

Its own photographs, warmed

The institute's concert photographs are kept and warmed for the cool stage light, and no teacher's face is invented.

Not on its own domain yet. The WordPress build sits on the institute's own hosting, kept out of search, and moves to its domain once access is given.

From the institute's own concert photographs, warmed with a colour grade we made for the stage light. Until the institute sends more, some pages use AI-generated stand-ins with no faces, and teacher pages keep a space for portraits.
