Overview

CMS Prime, an online trading broker, describes itself as Dubai-based. Its site offers trading in forex, commodities, indices and stock CFDs on MT4, MT5, a web trader and its own app. The English and Arabic sites run as separate WordPress installs on cmsprime.com, beside a partner section for introducing brokers. Adnika runs its SEO and technical site work.

This page covers six months of the site's Google search, our work across its installs, and what the figures do and do not show.

The challenge

Google had no way to pair its separate English and Arabic installs, on a site with soft 404s, breaking links and a stalled mega menu.

  • Two languages, two installs

The English and Arabic sites are separate WordPress installs on one domain, and neither knew the other's pages existed. Nothing told Google which pages were translations of each other.

  • Every missing page sent home

A theme function redirected every missing address to the home page. Google reads such a redirect as a soft 404, not as a missing page.

  • Links broken by a tag

Redirect rules for older addresses matched the whole address, so a link carrying a tracking tag landed on an error page instead.

  • A mega menu stuck shut

A speed plugin merged Elementor's scripts into one file. After an Elementor update in May 2026, the header's mega menu stopped opening on hover.

  • Gaps page by page

Our September 2026 review found pages with no meta description, pages with two H1s or none, and images without alt text. They sat in both languages and in the partner section.

What we did

  • Real 404s, not the home page

In April 2026 we removed the theme function sending missing addresses home, and added a 404 page with links to the main sections. A missing address now answers 404.

  • Links into the product pages

In June 2026 we added links in the body text of the product pages and the home page, pointing readers and Google to related pages. The home page's MetaTrader 4 headings now link to the MetaTrader 4 page.

  • FAQ markup from the page's own questions

We marked up the questions the product pages already answer as FAQ structured data, so search engines can read them as questions and answers. The MetaTrader 4 page carries its seven.

The questions about MT4 on cmsprime.com's MetaTrader 4 page, from what the platform is used for to how it works for beginners
  • English and Arabic, paired

On 1 June 2026 we added language tags to both installs. Each English page on our list and its Arabic version now name each other, with English as the default, as on MetaTrader 4.

The same page in Arabic, at cmsprime.com/ar/metatrader-4/
  • The mega menu, open again

In May 2026 we switched off the speed plugin's script merging. Elementor's scripts now load from their own folders, and the header's mega menu opens on hover again.

The header's mega menu on cmsprime.com, open on Platforms: MT4, MT5, My CMS Hub, the CMS Prime app, the web trader, Cpay and FIX APIs
  • Descriptions and headings, page by page

In September 2026 we wrote meta descriptions where the Arabic legal pages and the partner section had none, without touching the pages themselves. Pages with two H1s or none now have one, in both languages and the partner section.

  • Old links still land

In June 2026 we set the site's redirect rules to ignore tracking tags and pass them on, so tagged links reach the right page. Older product addresses redirect to their current pages in one step.

Why it worked

It works because every install gets its own fix

CMS Prime's English and Arabic sites and its partner section are separate WordPress installs on one domain. A fix in one reaches none of the others, so we make each change in each install and check it on the live site.

Each install states its pairs

The language tags sit in each install's own code. The English and Arabic sites each say which pages belong together, and a change to one cannot break the other.

Checked live, with a way back

Every change is made on the live site, checked straight after and kept with a way to undo it. In September 2026 a tracker showed the client each fix as it was checked.

Snippets without claims

On a broker's site, a search snippet must not promise anything. Our descriptions summarise what each page covers, with no figures, awards, licence statements or calls to action.

Reported plainly

Our search reports compare like with like and say what fell as well as what rose, as the click-through rate does here.

Questions about this engagement

What clients ask us after reading this case study.

We compared the last six months with the six before in Google Search Console, read on 7 November 2026. Impressions rose from 678K to 1.04M, up 53%. Clicks rose from 17.5K to 19.1K, up 9%, and the average position moved from 12.3 to 9.6, 2.7 places higher.

No. Impressions grew much faster than clicks, so the average click-through rate fell from 2.6% to 1.8%. A smaller share of the times the site was shown in Google led to a visit, and Search Console does not say why.

We cannot say so. Search Console counts the whole site, so its figures reflect every change made in those months, by CMS Prime's team and by us. Our SEO records start in April 2026 with the 404 fix. They show the menu fix in May, language tags, internal links and redirect fixes in June, and descriptions and headings in September.

Yes. CMS Prime's English and Arabic sites are separate WordPress installs on one domain, and its partner section is another. We set language tags, descriptions and headings in each one, then check each on the live site. See our SEO services.

Yes. On CMS Prime's site, each new meta description is a plain summary of the page. It carries no figures, promises, awards or licence statements, even where the page has them. We fill only empty fields and never change the page itself. See our on-page SEO service.
