What a website actually costs in Dubai

Every agency page on this topic ends at a contact form. This one does not. Below are the ranges we quote, what moves a project from the bottom of a range to the top, and the annual costs that are usually left out of the comparison entirely.

  • 2026 ranges, reviewed annually
  • 7 published builds behind the numbers
  • Ranges not a rate card — the proposal carries the figure

Partners & recognition

The stack we work in, the clients we keep

The platforms we build and run campaigns in, and the clients whose numbers we publish with their names on. HubSpot is the one partnership we claim; the rest are tools we use, not badges.

  • Alma Laser

The problem

Why nobody publishes their prices

Two honest reasons and one dishonest one. The honest ones are that scope genuinely varies enormously and that a published number gets quoted back out of context. The dishonest one is that vagueness protects the margin.

What makes comparison so hard

  1. Quotes describe different things

One includes copy, photography, migration and three months of support. Another is design and build of ten template pages. Same headline number, entirely different deliverable, and the difference does not surface until month two.

  2. The recurring costs go unmentioned

Hosting, domain, SSL, plugin and app subscriptions, maintenance, and the platform licence where there is one. Two builds an identical price apart can differ by AED 20,000 a year afterwards.

  3. Content is assumed to exist

Most quotes assume you supply final copy and images. Most clients do not have them. That gap is the single most common reason a project runs late and the invoice grows.

  4. Cheap is priced on hours, not outcome

A very low quote usually means a marketplace theme with your logo on it, no performance work, no accessibility work and no migration plan. It is a real product at a real price. It is just not the same product.

What is included

What things actually cost

Ranges we quote in this market as of 2026, reviewed annually. These are market ranges rather than a fixed rate card — a proposal against your scope carries the real figure, and we will tell you where in the range you sit and why.

Brochure site, 5 to 10 pages

AED 18,000 to AED 45,000. WordPress or Wix Studio, custom design against your brand, responsive, basic SEO fields set, contact forms working. Copy supplied by you at the lower end, written by us at the upper.

Corporate site, 15 to 40 pages

AED 45,000 to AED 140,000. Multiple service and industry templates, a real content model, bilingual where needed, performance budget, migration and redirects from an existing site. This is the most common bracket in this market.

E-commerce on Shopify

AED 30,000 to AED 180,000. Theme development, catalogue structure, local payment methods, and B2B logic where you sell to both trade and public. Catalogue size and integrations drive the number more than page count does.

Custom application

AED 60,000 to AED 350,000. Where the logic is genuinely yours: portals, configurators, listing platforms, anything behind a login. Integrations are the main cost driver, not the visual design.

HubSpot CMS build

AED 45,000 to AED 200,000, plus the HubSpot licence billed to you directly by HubSpot. Custom theme and a constrained module library so marketing can publish without a developer.

Copywriting

AED 1,200 to AED 4,500 per page depending on research depth and language. The most commonly excluded line in a website quote, and the one most likely to delay launch when it is.

Ongoing maintenance

AED 1,500 to AED 12,000 per month. Updates, security, backups with tested restores, uptime monitoring, performance tracking and a fixed number of content hours.

What you will also pay annually

Hosting from around AED 400 to AED 6,000. Domain about AED 60. Plugin or app subscriptions AED 0 to AED 8,000. Platform licence where applicable. Worth adding into any comparison, because it frequently changes which quote is actually cheaper.

Technology

What moves the number within a range

If you want a cheaper project, these are the levers. Most of them are decisions rather than compromises.

Pushes cost up

Usually for good reason.

  • Bilingual English and Arabic
  • Migration from a large existing site
  • Integrations with ERP or CRM
  • Custom photography or video
  • Copywriting from scratch
  • Complex search or filtering
  • Accessibility to WCAG AA
  • Bespoke motion or WebGL

Pushes cost down

Without hurting the outcome.

  • Fewer unique page templates
  • Content supplied and final
  • Existing brand and design system
  • Standard platform features over custom
  • Phased launch
  • Stock photography chosen well

Recurring, every year

The part left out of comparisons.

  • Hosting
  • Domain and SSL
  • Plugin and app subscriptions
  • Platform licence
  • Maintenance retainer
  • Content updates

Usually not included

Ask any agency directly.

  • Copywriting
  • Photography and video
  • Translation
  • Paid stock and fonts
  • Third-party licences
  • Post-launch changes

How we work

How we price a project

Fixed scope against a written document, not a day rate against an estimate.

Before any number

Page count, templates, languages, integrations, migration, content status and the performance target. Written down. Most disputes about money are actually disputes about scope, so the scope is the artefact.

  • Template count, not page count
  • Content status established honestly
  • Integrations listed with their owners
  • Performance target agreed

Fixed, against that document

One number for that scope, with what is excluded listed explicitly. If we have misjudged the effort inside an agreed scope, that is our problem, not a change request.

  • Fixed price against written scope
  • Exclusions listed, not implied
  • Payment schedule tied to milestones
  • Recurring costs stated separately

When something changes

Anything outside the document gets quoted before it starts. Never absorbed silently, never invoiced as a surprise at the end.

  • Change requests quoted before work
  • Written approval before starting
  • Running total visible to you

The costs that continue

Hosting, subscriptions and maintenance quoted up front so the total cost of ownership is visible before you commit, not discovered in month four.

  • Annual running costs itemised
  • Maintenance quoted before launch
  • No hosting arrangement you cannot leave

Why us

Why we publish these numbers

Because the alternative wastes both sides several weeks.

It saves everyone time

If your budget is AED 15,000 and the build is a AED 120,000 project, both of us should know that in the first email rather than after three meetings and a proposal.

The ranges come from real projects

Seven builds published on this site with the results attached. The ranges are what those actually cost, not an aspiration.

Fixed scope, so the number holds

Priced against a written scope. Misjudged effort inside that scope is ours to absorb. Change requests are quoted before they start.

Running costs stated up front

Hosting, subscriptions, licences and maintenance, itemised before you commit. It regularly changes which of two quotes is genuinely cheaper.

Start a projectSend the requirement and we will tell you which bracket it lands in, before anyone writes a proposal.

Questions

Website costs, answered directly

The questions people ask before they are willing to fill in a form.

A 5 to 10 page brochure site runs AED 18,000 to AED 45,000. A 15 to 40 page corporate site runs AED 45,000 to AED 140,000. Shopify is AED 30,000 to AED 180,000, and a custom application AED 60,000 to AED 350,000. Where you land depends on templates, languages, integrations and whether content exists. These are market ranges, not a rate card.

Because they are rarely for the same thing. Check specifically whether copywriting, photography, migration, redirects, translation, accessibility and post-launch support are included. Those six items account for most of the gap between two quotes that looked comparable.

Hosting AED 400 to AED 6,000. Domain around AED 60. Plugin or app subscriptions AED 0 to AED 8,000. Maintenance AED 1,500 to AED 12,000 a month if you want it. Add those before comparing two quotes — the cheaper build is sometimes the more expensive site.

For a launching business that needs to exist online this quarter, yes, and we will say so. What you are buying is a marketplace theme with your content in it. It will not be fast, it will not be accessible, and it will need replacing rather than extending. As a deliberate eighteen-month decision that is perfectly rational.

Payments are tied to milestones rather than dates, typically a deposit, a design sign-off, a build sign-off and a launch payment. On longer projects we can spread it further. We do not ask for the full amount up front.

Only when the quote says so. Copywriting is AED 1,200 to AED 4,500 per page and photography is quoted per shoot. Most quotes in this market assume you supply final content, and most clients discover they do not have it in week three.

The build includes technical foundations: structure, metadata, speed, schema, sitemap and redirects. It does not include an ongoing SEO programme, which is a separate engagement with a separate budget. Anyone bundling ongoing SEO into a build price is either not doing much of it or not doing much of the build.

It lowers the cost, sometimes substantially. A defined design system, typefaces and a photography library remove a real chunk of the design phase. Bring whatever exists to the first conversation.

A brochure site is four to six weeks. A corporate site is eight to sixteen. E-commerce is six to sixteen depending on catalogue and integrations. Custom is three to six months. Content readiness is the most common cause of delay in every one of those.

Yes, against a written scope. That is the whole reason the scoping stage exists. A fixed price against a vague brief is not really fixed — it is a number with an argument attached to it later.

No questions match — try another search.
